Check Your Website Speed

Enter a web address. Google PageSpeed Insights loads the page on a simulated phone or desktop and reports how fast it appears, how stable it is while loading, and how it scores for accessibility, best practices and SEO.

Test as

01 / WHAT THIS IS

One lab run, not your visitors' experience.

The scores and most timings come from a single Lighthouse test that Google runs from its own servers, with a throttled connection on the mobile setting. Run it twice and the numbers will move a little. Interaction to Next Paint is different: it needs real people using the site, so it comes from Chrome's field data and shows as unavailable for sites without enough traffic to be measured.

A good score does not guarantee rankings or enquiries, and a poor one is a list of things to look at, not a verdict. For what the site shows the public beyond speed — HTTPS, redirects, contact path, share preview — run Website Health.

Only public web addresses can be tested. The address is sent to Google to run the test; nothing about you is. Results are kept for 15 minutes so a repeat check is instant, the site tested and its scores are recorded without any visitor identity, and each visitor can run five new tests an hour. If you operate a domain and do not want it tested, ask here.
